Damien Trottier attended ENAC, the French Civil Aviation University, and graduated with a MEng degree in Air Transport and Economics. He then obtained a MSc degree in Air Transport Management, at Cranfield University (UK). He began his career in aircraft marketing with Airbus Middle East in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as senior marketing analyst. After 3 years with Airbus, Damien joined Emirates’ planning department as Fleet planning manager. In Emirates, His main task was to evaluate options for Emirates’ Medium/long term fleet renewal including the adaptation of fleet capacity/fleet mix and the evaluation of new types (777X, 787, A350, A330neo, A380neo). Damien’s expertise includes aircraft performance, aircraft economics, layout development/aircraft reconfiguration, long-term capacity planning, performance guarantees, aircraft program, etc. In 2015, Damien joined GECAS. His role is to evaluate aircraft and make recommendation to GECAS senior management team on asset investment and aircraft value. Damien is also supporting GECAS customers’ fleet planners / decision makers in their fleet strategy. Initially based in Dublin and looking after Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Russia-CIS, early in 2017 Damien moved to Singapore to join the Asia-Pacific and Greater China team. Damien resides in Singapore, with his wife and 2-year-old son. In his spare time, Damien enjoys cooking, travelling - discovering new cultures, scuba diving and spending good time with his friends and family.
